DOSPRN is a special program for support printing from DOS applications on any kinds of printers include winprinters, USB-printers, network printers, print servers etc.

Also DOSPRN support Epson and HP PCL Esc-sequences emulation, multiple international codepages, landscape/portrait printing, text color manipulation, absolute positioning and many other features.

Allows character based apps (DOS-Windows-Unix-Linux) to print to ANY Windows printer, including USB, network printers, faxmodems and PDF writers. It can also capture LPT out and redirect the jobs, even if a printer is phisically connected to the port.
Once configured, it will allows you to preview printing, include logos and background images, send the jobs via fax, use special fonts, colorize the text, export in PDF format and much more.

MS-DOS based applications are designed to print on character mode printers. Presently many laser and inkjet printers have powerful features but come with connectivity to only USB ports which DOS applications cannot access.
